The Pair of Tang Dynasty Lokopala archer and swordsman standing on recumbant water
buffalo atop a rockwork base. The unglazed heads with traces of pigment. One figure with hair pulled back and piled high, the other wearing a helmet with flaps, both with mustaches. One with hands raised to hold a sword, the other in an archer pose, both now missing their weapons. Sancai glazed decorated tunics and breast plates with dragon epulets at the shoulder.
